Pear Tart


1 Cinnamon Spice Cali’flour crust
3 small pears halved, cored and thinly sliced
4 oz of goat or bleu cheese
¼ c sliced almonds
2-3 T coarse sugar (can use brown sugar)
A sprinkling of sea salt
Drizzle of honey
7-inch fluted pastry dish*

Prepare Tart

Preheat oven to 375. Press thawed (not cooked) Cali’flour crust gently into pan. Add the goat cheese to the base of the pan, followed by the sliced pears. Sprinkle with almonds, sugar and salt. Bake for 30-40 min until edges are golden brown and pears are cooked through. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack; allow to cool for 10 minutes. Drizzle with honey before slicing and serving.
