Apple Blueberry Crumble


1 Pumpkin Spice Cali’flour Foods Crust 
½ c pecans or walnuts
1 T brown sugar
2 Granny Smith apples cored and chopped 
½ c fresh blueberries 
2 T sugar 
½ t ground cinnamon  
Juice of half a lemon
Vanilla ice cream (optional)

    Apple Blueberry Crumble

    Prepare Topping 

    Break up frozen Cali’flour Crust and add to a food processor. Add brown sugar and nuts. Pulse to create crumble texture (no larger than pea-size pieces). Set aside.

    Prepare Filling

    In a bowl combine chopped apples, blueberries, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.

    Assemble Crumble

    Preheat oven to 350. Divide the fruit filling evenly between four cup-sized ramekins. Top each with the topping mixture and cover. Place in oven to bake until apples are bubbly (about 20-30 minutes). Uncover and brown topping additionally for about 5 minutes. Remove from oven and serve warm topped with ice cream. Enjoy! 

    * Additional sugar may be used if a sweeter crumble is desired. Sugar alternatives may be substituted.
