We could feel the magic in the air. As pallets were unloaded and banners were set out, the energy and excitement was palpable! I could almost taste it. We moved out of the way as people rushed to find their booth designer and listened as they tried to make big decisions, such as umbrella or no umbrella for the tiki bar. We found ourselves completely enthralled in the joy and wonder that is FOOD! As we stood in the middle of the hall we felt the buzz of bliss, we knew we had come to the right place.
There is nothing quite like experiencing something for the first time. Sure, I have been to conventions, lots of them! But this time it was different. This time I was letting people into a part of my world. Something that has been so rewarding and has had me working long nights and longer days. This time I was presenting and representing Cali’flour Foods! My brand, my work, my joy, laid out for all to see. It was time to come to the table, sit down, and dine with the industry’s finest.
We gathered wisdom and garnered tidbits of advice from some amazing women who have been in the industry for 25 years. What an honor to hear from people who have tried and failed, and tried and conquered, overcoming and embracing their journeys! What a privilege to stand with so many entrepreneurs and see their dreams unfold before them. The mix of the seasoned and the fresh joining together to celebrate and dream even bigger!
This week we, Cali’flour Foods, had the honor of joining the tribe of foodies, chefs, and business men and women who find beauty in pioneering and uncovering new and magical ways to entice our senses with the taste and smell and bliss that is food.
We will always hold dear the Fancy Food Show and all that it has taught us and brought us. We will always hold dear our community who have supported and cheered us on. We are so grateful. What a neat journey. We can’t wait to share more with you as opportunities unfold! Stay close. Stayed tuned. Big things are coming!
