We get a lot of questions about the diets. Not just about our products, but about where to go for more information. We reached out to our friend and ketogenic diet guru, Thomas DeLauer, and asked him to share some of his "go-to" resources for those looking for resources related to Keto. Below is his list of recommended online resources.

Looking for factual information regarding Keto to jumpstart or take your progress to the next level? You’ve come to the right place! Despite the popularity and overwhelming proof of the profound benefits of the keto diet, there is a lot of misinformation surrounding it. This post provides you with my top online keto resources for truthful, accurate, and science-backed answers to some of the most frequently asked keto questions. 


PubMed is a free-to-use online database that contains over 27 million peer-reviewed biomedical literature dating back to 1966 (some articles date back to 1809)! It may seem intimidating at first, but trust me, it’s fairly easy to use, and it’s such a valuable tool! It offers to-the-point abstracts that you can quickly scan to learn the outcome of in-depth studies surrounding the keto diet! With over 27 million peer-reviewed articles housed in its database, it pretty much has an answer to any question you might have!


BarBend is another free online resource that covers nutrition, training, news, analysis, and opinion pieces. Its editors have over a decade of combined experience in the fields of nutrition and training.

It’s an engaging resource that also offers exercise guides and programs that you can use in conjunction with your keto diet! It provides less information overall than PubMed, but it is a bit more user-friendly and its articles teach you how to apply the information you’ve learned.

The cool thing about BarBend’s writers is that they don’t think one type of discipline (specific diet, style of training, etc.) is superior to all others. They are truly an unbiased resource that you can trust.

YouTube Channel & Newsletter

After more than 10 years of utilizing the keto diet, you could say I know a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to a keto lifestyle. During my 100lb weight loss journey, I realized that I wanted to be able to share my knowledge with others. My YouTube channel has over 2 million awesome subscribers, many of whom are keto enthusiasts, just like you! I post new videos pretty much every day that cover absolutely everything regarding keto! And, of course, all of my videos are backed by peer-reviewed science, utilizing the resources mentioned above!
