Fall for Pizza

Hello October! Fall looks good on you! And so do all those gorgeous colors. Ripened gourds and falling leaves abound, creating that undeniable warm feeling in contrast to the impending cold. The oven is warming up and needs some attention, and we have some inspiration to carry you through the season.

 You may not know it, but our Plant-Based crust is a great base for a plethora of autumn ingredients. Whether you’re looking for something sweet or savory, the Plant-Based is prime for decoration. We’ve experimented with acorn squash, pumpkin puree, mashed yams, and all those wonderful spices that will make your kitchen smell like a seasonal candle.

One of the great things about fall is the urge to get in the kitchen and create something wonderful. There are so many ripening foods that kick in the olfactory system and are perfect for experimentation that you could spend hours playing around. 

Every season has a different opportunity, and this one is for hibernation. By that we mean cleanse and relax, rest and enjoy. The summer was full of busyness, high energy, go-go-go and now it’s time to settle in and watch the leaves fall! This is the time of year to nourish your body with food and feeling, warmth and comfort. This season, let’s cherish the opportunity to rest and replenish ourselves.
